Sleeping problems, I've school everyday. And I can't fall asleep till it's like 4AM and I gotta wake up at 6AM. Then I'm sleeping the whole day at school and I'm just losing it mentally, cuz I barely remember anything we did in classes. Not that I'm smart or good at school in general but I just don't want to fail. I needed to get this off my chest cuz it's been a little rough on me. I appreciate any comments even if they're negative. Have a good day :)

What you need to do is completely shut yourself from all digital devices by 10 and maybe read to calm down before sleeping at 11, trust me this helped me a lot

Yeah I try to go sleep earlier and such. Sometimes I sleep a bit longer but it's just not enough. I appreciate your kind message :)

If you're under age, talk to your parents and explain the situation and tell them that you need some professional help, maybe some anxiety treatment will help you a lot (I was used to have the same situation that you're living)

I don't really wanna worry my parents with it. I just want to know if I can solve it on my own. So I don't really want to tell them

They probably are going to be worried in the first moment, but if you tell them that you trust that they can help to solve it, they will spare no effort to help you for sure

Yeah but parents aren't really on good terms right now with eachother, they got enough to worry about

There's a thing called ASMR as well, you can find it on YT, Twitch, Spotify, etc
When I have insomnia, it helps me a lot to fall sleep

Almost all college students suffer from this. Try playing some outdoor sports or heavy workout in the gym after you are done with your homework and assignments in the late evening.

I assume your school is up to 2PM or at max 4PM. Come home, do lunch finish your homework or any extra study you need to do. Go outside at 6, and commit to a heavy workout or some outdoor sport. Come back in at 8 or 9. Do everything you have like dinner/video games or entertainment during this time.

By the time you hit bed at 12 you will be so tired you will sleep like a log. If you hit the bed and not sleeping, either you did not tire your body enough or you have insomnia.

You don't have to follow the exact schedule you can switch around things ofc but try to tire yourself. Maybe you are on your phone during the night? That effects sleep a lot. In that case try to shift all activities on digital devices early in the day. However, sitting at home and doing nothing barely puts any strain on your body and your body does not feel like sleeping.

Anyways best of luck and don't hesitate to ask any doctors for help regarding this matter. What I mentioned above is just something I do when my sleep schedule effects my acads too much. I am not a huge gym person so I personally play badminton for outdoor sports.

Thank you so much, I've tried working out but it's not my type of thing sadly. I've been considering running so I should get to that. Thank you :)

I get some tips for you to getting rid of insomnia hope this helps you but what i sometimes did whenever i can't sleep in my college days was to listen to some classic music like clair de lune, gymnopedie, or nocturne no. 2. And i also like to shut all the lights on my room (including phone) because light sometimes can prevent you to have a nice sleep.

And there's also some therapy that been adviced by some of the professionals (i found it on youtube mostly). Can't remembered it all but i can list some of it for you

  1. Doing a little walk barefoot at the early morning at the front of your house (5-10 minutes), and let the sunlight get into your body.
  2. Its a sleeping technique from navy called 'breathing box' you can watch it here and just follow the instruction https://youtube.com/shorts/1yWYpuBSnrQ?feature=share
  3. The third one are also a military technique (idk which military it came from precisely) but just watch the video and follow the instruction. https://youtube.com/shorts/QNCKbs6ZTLA?feature=share
  4. Do some workout at your free time of the day so that you can feel tired easily and at some point your body requesting yourselves to have some sleep

some of it might not help you but i wish it will. I advise you to seek some professionals help too. Good luck!

Mf just mix a table spoon of ACV and a pinch of rock salt in a glass of water...
Drink it, even tho it smells terrible
You'll sleep well.
It's good for people who wanna lose weight as well
You won't get any cravings as well

You need to limit the amount of time ur staring at a screen before bed. If i stare at a computer screen for hours before going to bed, it takes ages to fall asleep even if it's late af. Another tip is being more active physically daily if ur not very active.. a lil exercise goes a long way.

You have to force yourself to not sleep one day to reset ur sleep schedule so you’ll be very tried in the night rather than in the morning
