coaches usually make the "calls" besides like ganks as far as i know

performance usually not related to shotcalling

not really. based on the teams i know (damwon-showmaker(mid), t1-keria(support),drx-beryl(support), geng-peanut (jungle)

generally its kinda your coach or your jgl making "calls". the game sorta only has like fights and 2 objectives to coordinate as a team around. besides that its like minor things like asking your nearest teammate to help shove a wave or get vision. calls take place over a span of like 3 minutes, setting up the map to be favorable, and then executing on whatever objective you want to capture
