I want GENUINE EG fans to come here, right now and tell me what your honest feelings are towards the roster moves of your org? After seeing what other NA orgs have done with building rosters, are you guys happy with what EG is keeping/getting? And do you think this new roster will bring success next year? Do you see the roster going well?

I don’t think they will even see a top 10 finish with this roster sorry. Not with how other regions have gone with building super teams. I just see this team having low finishes but I agree, hopefully some more good changes come before the deadline but if I’m honest it seems asif EG will try this roster for atleast 12 months.
I've been a fan of EG as an org since they founded their DOTA roster way back in the day so I'll always support them. I like what they're doing with their Valorant roster as EG has always been an org that has focused on developing homegrown talent so I like that they built a relatively successful roster for 2022. That's why I take issue with EG looking to sign Ethan as I feel like that goes against EG's roster strategy that they've maintained since the inception of the org. I like that they've kept Boostio, jawgemo, and c0m and my ideal roster would be them + bcJ and supamen.
I can respect that, look I think the roster would have looked good if they built around Jawgemo and sought out other talent. I’m all for “homegrown” talent but I think EG has really dropped the ball here, there is so much talent currently in NA unsigned that would have really boosted this team up and actually given them a fighting chance come next year. The problem I see is them having more bottom finishes and just not doing well at all. At the end of the day none of these guys have even been exposed to international play in Valorant whereas other rosters have. I can respect that they want to stick with their roots but when you have the opportunity they have with a franchise slot surely you want to make people actually believe in your org within the first 6-12 months?
If EG gets Valyn, i think EG can a top 6 team. I really like what Potter did in the second split this year. Boostio and Jawgemo are both good player. Make boostio more free by sign Valyn to IGL would be a great choice and he would be more impactiful on chamber. Ethan is a decent player, solid and a good support pick up for the line. And has a lot of experience. My only problem is keeping c0m. Nothing against him, but i think that has better options for initiatior on the market (BCJ and Trent). So, if the team gets Valyn to be the IGL, i think we will be great and a top 6 team. If the team dont get Valyn, and go for supamen... them im not really sure. The tactical part will be good anyways, because of potter, but without a proper igl to make boostio more free, i think will lack fire power for the team.
Yeah I fully agree with this, I think the 2 of Boostie and Jawgemo can actually work. I like how they started to play towards the latter part of the season and once jawgemo was on more solidified roles he looked waay more comfortable and actually able to do something. I think picking up Valyn and Ethan would be good. I'm not the biggest Ethan fan although I think on a roster with, Jawgemo, Boostio, Ethan, Valyn, Trent I could see Ethan actually performing quite well. This is the part that actually annoys me though. With all the Initiator talent in NA such as BcJ, Trent, even Flyuh, I struggle to see how c0m has even kept his spot? Like I didnt think he did anything amazing FOR EG and it really confuses me why they're even keeping him in the first place but I guess we will see.
EG had solid names like BCJ, Trent and EEIU on the market. And player that, i think, has a high ceiling to growth like Flyuh, Critical, Aleksandar and Jovahill. Those guys didnt play on the tier 1 level (except for Flyuh) but they have a better potencial them c0m imo. So i really dont know why keeping him on the team. But other than that, with valyn its already a solid squad
Yeah I full agree, Like the F/A market for EG was quite large and the fact that they kept c0m literally has me scratching my head. If you have the ability to pick even Flyuh up why would'nt you? BcJ is another one that would have bolstered that roster but EG has taken this weird stance and by the looks of it, No interest in actually winning or building a super team like the rest of the competition has. I worry that EG will keep this roster, They will have poor performances and then just nuke the whole thing and try again which is honestly in my opinion a shit way to go. Why not build a roster now, lay the foundations and actually have a shot at a REALLY good roster into 2023 not only that, Signing better players will have more eyes on you, and bring you more fans.
I'm an eg fan, I'm pretty happy they could have made more upgrades and I don't rly get Ethan when they could have kept more of their core or another cracked young player which would have been more inline with their image but we move. Having valyn is huge cause it allows boostio to boost the rest of his team (minus jawgemo) to top3 every event
I think like alot of us have said. Building around Jawgemo and keeping Boostio wouldn't have been a bad idea. But the fact that they've kept c0m instead of looking at other players that play his role WAAY better doesn't make much sense. Not to mention it doesn't seem like BcJ is joining either. Ethan would and will be a good addition but its deffs not a top10 roster in the league by any stretch of the imagination.
