nzr enters the roster from FURIA, a well known team within the Brazilian region. Although the tough competition in the Challenger stages, they managed to keep a top 4 placement throughout all the stages and managed to accumulate enough points to qualify for the South American LCQ. In the SA LCQ, FURIA made a strong run sweeping FUSION and 9z Team to get to the finals where they met the Latin American Giant KRÜ Esports. Although they lost 3-0 to KRÜ, they were given another opportunity in the lower bracket where they would sweep fellow Brazilian team TBK Esports to qualify for champions. Unfortunately, their Champions run didn't last long as the team was eliminated in the group stage at the hands of DRX than FNATIC in back to back series.
Leviatán on the other hand was a top performer in the Latin American region placing in the top 2 at every event next to KRÜ. After multiple losses to KRÜ throughout the year they finally overcame their kryptonite and swept them 3-0 to qualify for Masters: Copenhagen. In Copenhagen, they were eliminated in the group stage with a 1-2 record with their only win being the North American youngsters in XSET. Even with their early exit at Masters, they were able to qualify for champions due to their consistent results through the year. At champions they shocked the world defeating Team Liquid and APAC powerhouse Paper Rex in a 2-0 fashion. After qualifying for the playoffs in the top seed of Group A they were unable to find a win, losing to eventual champions LOUD and Copenhagen winners FunPlus Phoenix in consecutive matches.
This move is the first signing that Leviatán has made since it was announced that they would be representing Latin America in the America's League.
The Leviatán roster is currently:
