Wasn't 15th October the date when teams were supposed to give in roster info ?(the initial "SOFT LOCK")

So much miss information, no, the 15th is a date where teams have to give their first start of the roster to Riot, it’s basically made for imports and people who have hard visas to get to not have issues later, but regular players can be picked up until the 1st of February.
Also the 15th teams have to tell Riot, not necessarily publish anything, even tho most likely we will get many leaks about it
So? You can present anyone you want/provisional players, 6th players, coaches or whatever and take a longer time for tryouts if that's what the team wants and yes "regular players can be picked up until the 1st of February", the ones with special conditions specially Russians, or import players who need to move continents can't be picked up last minute, that's why this date is so early
imo there is less than 10% chance that the rosters we see tomorrow are not the final rosters f or february..
- because why sign players to year long or even multi year long contracts just to replace them in a few months
- there are not many upgrades to players in free agency besides like marved so maybe some team drops their controller for marved but teams have 4 months to mold and fix issues internally and having that experience together is valuable so i think temas would sign who they want now and use the four months to fix problems just my opinion though idk if i explained that well
About 1, it's not signing players just to replace them, most teams still have their old roster under contract and can just put those players until they figure out who do they wanna complete the roster with before releasing/selling those players
About 2, well you're assuming NA is the center of the world, but even with that, teams could wanna do longer tryouts, negotiations with other orgs that are taking longer than they should (Nzr, Daveeys), upcoming 6th players, or players just talking long to chose which offer is best
whatever roster you see tomorrow you will see at the Brazil Kickoff, most teams arent doing imports so whatever your saying dosent matter lol. Ofc you can continue to still look into players after tomorrow and sign more but I doubt more teams will sign anyone unless its a 6th man. No one has sucess doing a 6 man roster so its really pointless to even have 6 or 7 lol.
