Ok not even baiting or anything but now that we have gotten so much movement from the Americas League, how has more not happened with any EU teams. Roster lock is just over 2 weeks away, what/who is holding up all the deals?

There are 2, you have to lock your initial roster in during mid October to assure that you can get visas and such

Yes, but you can change everything up again until February 1st that's why teams don't have to rush anything, they have 4 months

but they still have to pick 5 players. and no org will procastinate lol, every single org will prepare a good 5 by this first lock. they can change everything, but that doesnt mean they wont form a good serious team

Or they can lock the current roster they have and then build the new one with time?

yeah but thats just delaying. instead they can start making a team now with almost the most ideal pool of free agents. there arent many chances you get a fragger like yay or an igl like fns as free agents. why would any team wait till feb when all you are left with is shaz or tenz lol

I’m not saying they should wait until February, I’m saying just forget October 25th it’s a date for something cause it’s just useless

I'm guessing that locking/negotiating with players is more difficult in EU since there are so many countries and is not the same as signing a player from the same country as the org. But that's just me guessing tbh

I think it's more due us having to make 10 teams and NA having to make 5 because players here in EMEA actually have more options when in NA the players in position to to actually chose are not very many

I mean EMEA has gotten quite a lot of rumors tho? NaVi signing FPX. Fnatic trialing Leo and Chronicle. Koldamenta likely to KOI. cNed and Salah potentially to Vitality. nAts and Redgar potentially to Liquid. KCorp interested of Scream and Nivera and want French speaking team etc. And even if you look at NA none of the leaked deals have been officially announced yet outside of Cryo to 100T if I'm not wrong. And even when it comes to rumors or leaked NA deals its just been C9, OpTic core to NRG and Cryo to 100T. No word about SEN or EG outside of that SEN will rebuild.

well you see, we dont make teams based upon who we are friends with. we actually do try outs and stuff, and it takes time to make decisions based on that.
