Why 6 players?

I understand that it's in case they need a stand in for whatever reason but isn't that essentially tier 1.5 jail? It's all the best players that were on the edge of actually playing on the team, at least if they were on non franchised teams they would play the game but instead they are gonna sit on the bench not improving.

It seems like a problem where it's difficult to grind up to tier 1 since if you get close to good enough you have to sit on the bench and do nothing while others improve, making you relatively worse making you go back to tier 2.

Like no one is forcing someone to stay as 6th player and
I think they can recruit young unproven talents like zekken seven and let them experience and improve their gameplay

I guess if they don't want to be on a franchised team they don't have to but obviously people will even if it is worse for them in the long term.
The point is they don't experience as much since they might play 1 scrim a week, they are really just there to fill the mandatory 6th man slot.

so you are saying its better to play t2 val then be in environment with world class players coaching staff experiencing lan and possibly a chance to move up in main team

the point is they don't ahve world class coaching staff since they aren't the 5 players playing. In scrims only 5 players will play, the 6th man will not. Yes 100% a player that is consistently playing in tier 2 will improve more then someone not scrimming and just happens to be on a tier 1 team

you are totally wrong about that and I cant argue because you literally cant see the
Pros

To assure that if a player needs to come in he is fully aware of how the team operates and all things like that. It's not forced or anything but offers you a chance to get into Tier 1 if things fall into place for you
