Will they defend their title or will another region rise to the top? Find out next time on the forums of VLR

defending a title is signifcantly harder than winning one. losing teaches u far more than winning, for a team to win back to back i think they have to be so far ahead that win they win the first time people don't yet fully understand how they did it. i can't see them defending

hmmmmmmm ... don't you think it's too early to even think about this? let's wait the next season at least.

It's really hard consider that even Prime Gambit was still unable to do it despite making a back to back Grand Final last year

Doesn't make sense to me defending Valorant Champions title in another tournament. LOUD is Champions winners, so they are defending title only in Champions 2023

Well unfortunately majority of people in VALORANT still considered any International event like Masters and Champions as the same level instead of treating them like League where Worlds are more prestige than MSI

But the event that's gonna happen in Brazil isn't masters it's a brand new event to opening the new era of valorant

It gives a +1 slot for the region that win this event

True, but with how little International event happens in VALORANT, people would still treat every International LAN as Major event

I agree they are quite the same level, but I don't like breaking the hierarchy created by Riot.

They created Champions to be something like CSGO Major. Btw is the only tournament with features (for everyone) in the game. Masters are quite pale if you compare with Champions importance.

Idk if thats is the case, but I think majority of people won't remember Masters winners in 5+ years from now, but Champions winners they will for sure.
