VCT 2023 Franchised Teams

Americas -

1. LOUD (They are the best team in South America they are obviously gonna make it)
2. KRU Esports (They have been around since 2021, I would love for Leviatan to make it but I just don't see them making it since they just started getting really popular in the last 4 months)
3. OpTic Gaming (There is just no way they don't make it they have been the most popular team this year and probably have the best placements this year)
4. 100 Thieves (Everyone knows who 100 Thieves are they have been around the VALORANT scene since the beginning)
5. XSET (Like 100 Thieves XSET has been around since the begging so they will probably make it)
6. Cloud 9 (Cloud9 at this point is a household name everyone knows Cloud9 they also have had a LoL team in LCS)
7. Sentinels (Everyone loves Sentinels we all know they are gonna make it)
8. TSM (Even though TSM hasn't qualified for like any playoffs or masters this year they are still a really big organization and they also have a LCS team)
9. Version1 (V1 is just like TSM, V1 has not been the best this year but in my opinion, I think they will make it they were good in 2021)
10. NRG (NRG is not the most popular team but everyone that watches NA Valorant knows you they are and they have been around for a while so I think they will make it)

NA is not getting 8 spots lmfao, the split is 3 br teams 2 latam teams and 5 na teams im p sure

8 NA spots? Honestly I can't see FURIA & LEV not making it at the expensive of V1 and XSET. XSET & V1 have no content branch to speak of at all and they have no meaningful connections with RIOT outside of VALORANT (aka being in the LoL partnership circuit).

Optic maybe the most popular team statistically because of grands but SEN were def more popular if u compared them regionally since SEN didn’t make it to LAN, is probably only 5 NA teams and prob not xset, it’s prob optic, SEN, 100t, c9, and I got faze, but could be eg, nrg, guard it’s tough to pick but I’m confident in the other 4
