During the DRX Loud match I made a thread complaining about how toxic the Koreans were being with us and that the br community had never been more chill, and yet after the match we’d be the ones being called toxic and being attacked for absolutely no reason
Said and done, the match ended and Brazilians were being even more laid back than most communities after and interregional match, but then these threads attacking us began popping up, coming to a head with lothar’s post, regarding that, it is suspicious that a personality irrelevant to the br community was being attacked by us, even more when he just flat out refused to give any sort of evidence for it started acting all weird and than just left. But that’s not the main issue, what bothers me is that it is just unprofessional for someone in his position within the community to just go all out and address all Brazilians on this issue as if the entire nation was doing it, when in truth it might be just two randos, a guy who isn’t even Brazilian just baiting, or no one at all!
You’ve never suffered this sort of discrimination so listen to me in this case, this sort of comment and stereotype propagated by these people generate a a widespread bad impression of us, of all of us!!! Which causes the whole community to suffer much more than any single guy might be putting lothar through, do you know how sickening it is to be constantly put through situations where you’re being mistreated and judged for things you’ve never done just because you belong to a certain nation?
Add that on top of the fact that these situations always start happening as soon as Br teams start doing well, every single time we’re doing good the threads go from shittalking us to literally attacking who we are, these accusations of death threats just suddenly start popping up every single time, at champions, at Reykjavik, and now, I wonder where they were last year during the first two masters, and at Copenhagen?
But then again, this situation is our issue and our issue solely, and I’d advise you to stop acting as the owner of the truth in these situations that are so heavily dependent on a particular group’s personal experiences and listen a bit more, you can’t possibly know what we go through so you can’t understand what this situation really means
I know I sound overdramatic and even my br counterparts complain about it, but there’s literally no other way to put it to words
