Non-fragging IGLS

I compared the most know non fragging igls to eachother (stats)

Boaster has an average of 176 ACS
and an average of 71 KAST%

FNS has an average of 170 ACS
with an average of 70 KAST%

FNS has a hyper carry(yay) on his team that can go 20/3 on his best days so he can play for both of them
yay has an average of 283ACS with the group stage
as a lurker on half of the maps with a 75% KAST
w/o group stager he (yay) has 310

but fnatic? they have
a)Enzo with an average of 148 ACS (3rd lowest on the tournament)
b)Alfajer with an average of 243 ACS
c)Derke with an average of 242 ACS
d)Mistic with an average of 234 ACS
what happens when 2 of their better players have an offday? they instantly lose bcs they
dont win so many duels.

to the comparison i put LEV IGL here (i know he takes more aggresive roles but this still isn't comparible)
kiNgg has an average of 266 ACS with the group stage (highest of any IGLS and 2nd highest on the tournament)
and an average of 80 KAST%
w/o group stage he has 308 ACS

conclusion: Boaster and FNS need to frag more
their mental doesnt help the team with the firepower, only brainpower

Other than Redgar, I don't think if we have any good IGLs in EMEA (Boaster and Ange1 are good but ykwim)
Like ScreaM is the lead fragger AND the IGL, that's just too much pressure for him to frag and do the mid round callings!
EMEA lacks the good IGLs this event. I am not even coping, It's facts.
Whereas NA teams have some of the best IGLs. FNS might not be good at fragging but he does gets the job done by those important calls and he does pops off when it's important

Literally cant agree more. Most of his kills are either players not looking at him or moving while spraying and one random hs connects. But his bad aim compensates for his gigahead. MANS actually one of the smartest IGL

Difference between Pujan and Boaster is that Pujan when he's feeling it aims like he is prime tenz snapping onto enemies heads while boaster is just eh

Well, that must not be very often then cause if instead of looking to 4 games like this guy did you look at the last 90 days the difference of ACS between the two is very notable and you can tell Boaster has way more firepower

people keep making fun of non fragging igls yet
Masters copenhagen was won by FPX, whose igl was called botge0 throughout the tournament
Masters iceland was won by OpTic, whose igl was bottom 5 players in the tournament in acs.
Champs was won by Acend, whose igl bottom fragged 4/6 matches
Masters berlin was won by Gambit, whose igl bottom played well yet still bottom fragged 4/6 matches and was Gambit's worst performer overall.

Meanwhile, I don't see teams like LEV, TL, or G2 making those kinds of runs. Maybe having players bottom frag IGL isn't a real deciding factor on games and having a fragging IGL doesnt mean anything without knowing the quality of his leadership!

playoffs has just been one game, of course if they lose once they will have bad stats. But firepower is not the problem in lev, tacolilla is a top 10 chamber player itw, melser probably top 10 controllers too, and shyy had a great group stage. adverso does look to be lacking a bit at least fragging wise

There is a difference between bottom fragging and getting 5 kills per map dude. Redgar and Bonecold bottom fragged cause their teams had insane firepowers but still you could see those too have way better firepower than the other 3 you mentioned. But yeah Ig you're right

Sometimes those so called "fragging IGLS" are considering themselves as an IGL but doesn't have any great midrounding calls and things lol. Scream is already the example of it he's great as a fragger but definitely mid as an IGL

King does do all the calling and Lev’s mid round movements and readings this tournament have been on point

But their stats are not the same tho, if you take 90 days in their stats FNS has way worse stats than Boaster, the larger the sample the most accurate

I mean, Lev Lost a 12-6 lead on icebox to loud and kingg still topfragged the map with around 27 kills. and overall also lost the match- so i don't know if comparing fnatic's igl to lev's igl is quite correct considering they both lost their opening bout despite one putting up a performance and one providing something else to the team.
