Is the english language taught in brazilian schools? or is it an elective, something you can choose to study or not.

And like I said we keep studying this shit every year since day one that english is mandatory until we fucking graduate. The result is that we don't know how to have an actual conversation cause we don't actually speak (madness) and only have the minimal skills to write some decent text or whatever. It's insufferable and a joke.
At least that was my experience.
Bruh wtf that sounds horrible. to be is such a simple concept anyway. and all the language classes at my school, once youre past the first year of it, force you to speak the language in class (year 2 spanish makes you speak spanish, etc etc)
If theyre gonna force a language its weird that they dont teach it correctly.
