their performance proved it
but yay's performance has overall been more consistent and constantly at the top, therefore why he's considered #1
Chamber enabled a player to make an individual hero play. even if yay is number 1, the difference is not too big compare to number 2.
is that not the same with jett? plus, it actually is a big difference as yay has legit been the most consistent player, you cant say someone like nats, who isnt even at champs, shao or suy can CURRENTLY be better than him. if they prove otherwise, then yes we can consider them to be #1, but atm yay is probably #1 right now and ur bias towards "chamber broken!!!!" is not letting u think straight
Chamber is mainly OP in ranked, but in pro play there are are team strats with fade and kayo which can stop him. Yay has the best aim we have ever witnessed in valorant and ur saying hes not as good as others because he plays chamber. I can bet u if Nats played chamber u will say hes bad.

chamber is easy, it's broken. even nAts can farm up to 271 ACS using chamber while yay is only 256 ACS
theres no way u compare stats of nats playing against regional teams and only for 5 maps with only 1 time nats doing good with it. To yay playing against global teams for 83+ maps. By ur braindead logic yay is 10x better than nats cause he has a 3.2 kd on viper. shut the hell up and realize ur bias.
shao suygetsu can be in debate for those number 2/3 spots and even jingg can also be in the debate. but nats i dont know though m3c kinda meh this year. alfajer needs to go big this tournament because its his hometown, otherwise he's not there just yet
Strongest teams I think that will run very deep in Champs are FPX, DRX and OpTiC. These guys have the LAN experience and so far have shown us when they're firing together that they can be the best teams.
I'm very impressed by his crosshair placement, it's like he's aware of everything that's happening on the map.
