is pheonix viable?

I know pheonix has quite the history for being a bad agent, but I'm starting to think otherwise.

Idk why but my k/d is the highest with pheonix (yes ive played enough games with him for it to be viable) and all of my highest acs kast kda is just poppin off with pheonix. I literallly just came off a game with going 26 and 7 and just tottally winning every duel. I cant tell whether theres just this weird effect pheonix has on me or smthin cuz hes just so good in my hands.

my kd is also the highest with phoenix, I think people mean that his impact on winning the game is minimal

I bet ur not playing against pro team. I think phoenix is very playable. It's just there's another duelist that more useful.

in ranked you can play anything, there you can always outsmart or outaim your way to victory. Now starting to think that just because you do well with an agent in ranked, that it means the agent is good, that is a dumb thing. But imo valorant its a pretty balanced game agent wise, the gap between the best to the worst is not that big

in ranked yes, in pro play, it depends on how you play him.

His flashes are really hard to dodge

In ranked he's ok but there are better initiatiors and duelists that do what he does but better. Jett, Neon and Raze all make more space and KayO and Skye have better utility than him.

Yes, especially in ranked. Viability wise, i think he may get run in a few unorthodox comps, especially on pearl (phoenix goated on pearl frfr), but he wont be a common pick.

Kay/0 is basically a better version of Phoenix already, the only maps he's viable on in pro play are maps where the orbs are incredibly T sided so the phoenix can farm ults fast as hell like Ascent

He will be viable In ranked.
Other than Reyna he has a pretty high Carry potential as you have all the utility to enter a site on your own.
Curve a wall to divide the site , flash through it, take aggressive peaks, use your molly to heal.
But what's the most useful when using phoenix is that if you get one kill every round and an orb and a plant / defuse, you get an ult every 2 rounds
