why is there no african team in masters champions? how can asia, europe, na, sa be there but no african team?

if you say they don't have league and shit what is riot doing and why are they not working for this kind of stuff? imagine this would be the case for japan, korea. you would run wild here telling us here riot isn't doing shit for this and that region.

i personally find it racist af not investing in africa. they only get very small cups nobody cares about.

at least we can enjoy watching former match fixers and cheaters play from NA and a bunch of hobby players from asia like zeta and boom

Unfortunately Africa consists of mainly impoverished countries with little access to internet capabilities, let alone the ability to play VALORANT.

MENA teams exist. They compete in qualifiers for Challengers events, but usually don't manage to qualify / if they do, they don't make Masters.

EMEA is africa, most of africa doesn't have leagues/playins because most african regions don't have enough playerbase to make the infrastructure worth it/ not enough viewers

+1, this is the actual real reason. More info, Riot uses Amazon servers to host the game. So you cant just ask Riot to make a server for Africa, they literally cant, you need to ask Amazon first. Unfortunately Amazon just follows demand, if Africa gets more economically developed in the next years they'll probably get one then maybe we will get African team.

riot has been investing in africa more than any other esport is atm, they have a clear path to masters/champs via EMEA playoffs
stop having a mental breakdown, its due to losers like u who think they are "entitled" to everything , the minor regions get bad rep
