its still a sub. smoggy played good in the series. that doesnt mean that it was a beneficial change for the team. im not an EDG fan but no matter the performance of the sub i consider the team weaker when they do have a sub. there is chemistry and factors other than KD to consider. maybe life shoulders something that really helps EDG succeed and it doesn't necessarily show up in the stats?

Life is a duelist player and the first map they didn't use a duelist, u can say they are a 6 man roster so life still wouldn't have played at that map if that comp is their real comp unless they changed it
And smoggy has joined the team since July 16 and even played with Haodong and Life before at EDG, the synergy isn't as bad as u think

Sub doesn't mean he is worse than the original player, smoggy literally is as good as life if u watch him play before

Life is sick I believe, hopefully he will be back for their match against Liquid.
For the people saying smoggy carried and that EDG were better with him, does that mean FNC in Reykjavik were better with h1ber since he carried? The answer is no, they still don't have much practice with him, people underestimate how important practice and synergy are (plus Life is one of their better players).
