Because they have a mechanic where when u kill kayo and he falls down and then dies you get the kill, even if someone shoots him, u only dont get the kill if someone deals 850 damage to him while he is on the floor.

So yes they just had to code that on top, it wouldve been less work to make it so that the one who downs him gets the kill

It would just make it so they didn’t have to do as much coding. Or something like that, they basically just left the coding the same for kills so whoever finishes him it acts as if it’s a kill. Rather than them inserting a new code to where whoever knocked him gets the kill. I’m not 100% on this but i believe this is somewhat the case

it happened to me once where someone had and odin as was just spamming the kayo. but obv they couldnt control recoil for shit and before he could kil the kayo he had to reload. Surprise surprise the enemy sage peeked got the kill, resed the kayo also ulted someone in mid

I personally value average combat score more than the number of kills, so i just hope whoever downs him get the most score (aka credit) and whoever finishes him gets the minimal amount.

My problem isn’t really the stats with it .It sucks but at the same time when 3 of my teammates focus on shooting the kayo ult for the kill tilts me a tad.

ohhhh hmm im in d2 rn and most people i get queued up with usually just ignore a downed kayo and proceed to hold angles unless the site is completely free and it's safe to finish off the kayo
but perhaps others have different experience

Lucky for you cause i’m D1 and it is constant. Some games I will say if we’re all communicating they tend not to. But as soon as those no mic andy’s get in the lobby it’s over.
