after their spectacular runs in the APAC Game Changers LCQ. The pair of all-Thai teams, the former an experienced contender and the latter an aspiring challenger, will join six other teams who have already qualified for the tournament.
X10 Sapphire dominated the bracket en route to their qualification, winning every map they played in a comfortable fashion. Their closest maps of the tournament were 13-8s against W Streak and

, and they won four out of seven maps with a 13-3 scoreline. W Streak was strong in their own right, going undefeated aside from their 13-8 and 13-7 losses to X10 Sapphire.
Both teams barely failed to qualify for this year's Elite event prior to the LCQ. X10 Sapphire nearly made it among the first three spots based on circuit points, but fell short and then performed poorly in the Overtime event when three more spots were up for grabs. W Streak barely missed qualifying through the Overtime event.
That left the two teams among the favorites to qualify through the LCQ. And they both delivered.
Both teams kicked off the tournament with perfect runs through the group stages, a dominance they each carried into their first playoff match.

which recently made roster changes despite past successes. W Streak won 2-0, but the series was fairly competitive, with the map scores being 13-7 on Breeze and 13-9 on Fracture. W Streak's Breeze attack looked extremely strong, with them winning seven of the eight rounds they played on their attacking half. On map two, both
rosey
and
mimii
went huge on their support agents, the two leading the server with at least 177 ADR and 86% KAST.
X10 Sapphire and W Streak took on each other next in a match in which X10 sent W Streak to the lower bracket after a 2-0 win. Still, it was X10's closest match of the tournament, with W Streak managing to get seven rounds in the first map then eight in the second. The X10 players managed to clutch four 1v2 scenarios over both maps. X10's alyssa in particular proved to be a constant thorn in the sides of the W Streak players, wracking up a massive 44 kills over the course of both maps, a feat made even more impressive given she was playing supportive agents in Killjoy and Skye.
X10's alyssa went huge against W Streak. The final hurdle X10 had to jump was the Bo5 upper bracket final against

. They once again did it with the same domination they'd established over the course of the tournament.
Although X Team BO picked the first map, Haven, X10 crushed them right out the gate with a near-shutout 11-1 first half. X Team BO didn't hang on much longer, and X10 took the first map 13-3.
In the next map, Fracture, X10 proved they picked the map as the match's second for a reason. They lost the first two rounds, but they gained momentum once their full-buy kicked in and won nine rounds in a row. A 3K from Veekay won X Team BO the final round of the half, but by then X10 just had too much momentum. The Thai squad finished out the map with another 13-3. Poly was the MVP for X10 on the map: She had a 343 ACS coupled with a KDA of 21/3/10 on Brimstone.
X Team BO then took the match to Bind, one of just two maps in which X10 had a win rate under 50%. But that didn't faze X10, which again surged ahead of their opponents, this time claiming a 7-1 lead. Three rounds in a row from X Team BO helped them enter halftime down 8-4, already the most rounds they had won in any map throughout the series. X Team BO surpassed their combined total in the first two maps by winning another four rounds in a row during the second half, but it was nothing more than a last flash in the pan as X10 closed the map out 13-8, and the series 3-0, to lock in the first slot to Elite.
X10 lock in their Elite slot with a 4K from Poly. While X10 marched their way through the upper bracket to clinch their Elite spot, W Streak had to fight through the lower bracket after their defeat to X10.

, the other team to lose in the upper semifinal. While Basissix took X Team BO to a close 13-11 on both maps in that match, W Streak won beat them with relative ease, winning 13-6 in back-to-back maps.
The final hurdle which W Streak had to overcome was a Bo5 series against X Team BO, fresh off their loss to X10 in the upper finals. The winner of this series would qualify for Elite while the loser would face the end of their Game Changers run for the year.
X Team BO picked the first map, Bind, and quickly jumped ahead to a 3-1 lead. But W Streak found their footing and were able to snowball seven round wins in a row before X Team BO managed to close out the half 8-4. W Streak got to map point with some breathing room at 12-6, which wound up being beneficial when X Team BO managed three rounds in a row to survive a while longer. Ultimately, W Streak won 13-9, despite X Team's Snowwke putting up a massive 309 ACS.
W Streak went to their favorite map, Breeze, for the match's second battle. After X Team BO won five out of the first six rounds, W Streak were able to pull themselves together and win six consecutive rounds to bring the score to 7-5 at half-time. On defense, they had exactly the same issue: they lost five out of the first six rounds before winning five rounds to win the map. mimii was W Streak's star player on the Chamber, netting five 3Ks and two 4Ks on her way to ending the game with a massive 34 kills and 424 ACS.
W Streak's mimii is good for four.X Team BO hoped to keep their Elite hopes alive by taking the teams to Haven on the next map. Both teams seemed evenly matched initially, but W Streak finally managed to set themselves apart on their attack by winning three rounds in a row to go up 7-4. X Team BO snuck in a final round before halftime, and then quickly built on that to take a 9-8 lead early in the second half.
W Streak did not let X Team keep the lead for long, winning three rounds in a row to take the 11-9 lead. The back-and-forth continued with two wins from X Team to tie things at 11-11 before W Streak closed the door in the last two rounds of regulation to win the map 13-11 and the series 3-0, making them the eighth and final team to qualify for APAC Elite.
W Streak Female grab the final Elite spot in an assertive 3-0 victory. With this, the eight teams who will be competing in October's Elite tournament, the winner of which will represent APAC at the Game Changers' Championship in Berlin, are:
