Liking players as they move between teams is being a bandwagoner now damn. Don't root for a team no matter the people involved just because there's a multimillion dollar corp like fnatic or faze or g2 behind it, that's stupid af. People are always more imporant than corps and brands.

that's how the culture has been for every single esport and traditional sport, like when Ronaldo moved from Madrid to Juventus and now ManU, anyone who followed him through teams got called bandwagoners and those are far bigger corporations than any esports org. You can't just change the rules now for a different esport for no reason. There's also a difference between favorite teams and favorite players, my favorite NBA team is the Cavs but I love watching Giannis play

Cause Fnatic is normally ppl's 2nd favorite team, I for example typically have a sentinels flair on, but when sen don't qualify I switch to a Fnatic flair for the duration of the tournament
its because more than half of the fnc flaggers switched after fnatic won challengers. those fnatic flaggers straight after iceland were nowhere to be seen
