I don't think he's producing any value for G2 as a streamer. Besides, they don't really need those
ocelote himself has already stated keeping players on payroll is way more expensive than just letting them go, but he only does it to stay true to his ethics (something players should commit to as well since they're signing a contract)

That's just not true, and again I'm just gonna put a real example, many teams wanted Keloqz right after he was benched but non of them were willing to pay the ridiculous buy-out he had, and it wasn't until when at the end of the market G2 reportedly lowered the buyout to a tenth of what it was before when Heretics paid it, and even after the lowering it was too much for teams like MRS.
So yes, buyouts are a thing, and yes, G2 makes money out of them
