Xbox series X or Ps5

Which one to buy? I'm leaning towards xbox series x because microsoft bought bethesda and many more publishers. On the other hand ps5 exclusives will be good but only timed exclusives.

Only console i ever owned was a ps2 and now im looking to buy one finally. Plz give me your opinions.

If u are on this site then u definitely own a pc. So Xbox will be better cause game pass allows u play games of both devices.

No if u own a pc playstation is a smarter choice imo cos u will be able to play all the new sony and microsoft games. Kinda useless to buy an Xbox if u own a pc just to play the same games. Like at that point just buy a xbox controller (unless obviously if your pc is a toaster).

none of them are gameplay driven anyways 💀 I'm not buying a ps5 to play a 3rd person walking simulator with a mid story and janky combat. Only good exclusives are detroit become human and bloodborne and you don't even mention them

Bloodborne is literally the only PS exclusive i want on pc cause I'm a big souls fan. This and the Last of us are the only good exclusives imo. Rest of them are just so boring and overrated. I don't understand how people can enjoy the new god of war compared to something like god of war 3 which was hella fun

horizon forbidden west wasn't living up to my expectation since I really liked zero dawn. But uncharted and gow series are definitely my favorites

Horizon is the most mid low effort zero creative game I've played in a while. It feels less like a game and more like a series of check marks. Uncharted is just an interactive TV series with a few good moments.GOW used to be fun (i love 3) but the new one is really fucking boring. The combat sucks and I couldn't care less about this cliched story

the ps5 exclusives will be timed and will release on pc like a year or 2 years later. But maybe i won't have to wait for 1-2 years to play them if i buy ps5

Not all the titles are shared… At least from my experience. And also console gaming is a different experience then PC gaming. Game Pass is also on mobile devices as well.

Game Pass is light years a better service than anything PS has. And with MS buying a crap ton of studios & publishers it’s just a better purchase. Imo.

For now mc have said the studios they are buying will not be making exclusives so idk (could change their mind tho obviously). Game pass is amazing but as someone with a pc PlayStation is just way more interesting to me. But yeah thats definitly understandable.

No lol... Only CoD will be multiplatform. Starfield, Elder Scrolls, all Arkane games, all Obsidian games etc. Will be exclusive on MS. Sony buying Bungie for it to remain multiplatform was just a reaction to MS buying up everything.

DEFINITELY A PS5 if you already have a pc
Most gamepass titles are available on PC including all existing and future Microsoft exclusives. Really no point in getting an Xbox X if you already have a pc

PS5 especially if you have PC. You can pretty much play every Xbox exclusive on PC as well and have game pass while PS5 still does quality exclusives that aren't available on PC for years. Also PS5 more popular and more mainstream platform so its better in that way as well. Should be more common to find people with Playstation consoles nowadays. Remember when one in my school got Xbox One while almost everyone else had PS4 and that is likely same with this gen.

Thanks people i think i will go with the ps5.

I built a pc 2 months back rtx 3070 and ryzen 5 5600x so i can play all the other games on pc and keep ps5 only for exclusives.

Yeah right now its still early and the stock issues make it hard to tell but the ps4 was way more successful than the Xbox one so I think its a safer bet espectially if u have a pc. But in general there are 3 things you should look at: price (ps5 and xbox X are the same price but the Xbox S and ps% digi are not so check that out), exclusives (if u have a pc then u can just play all the microsoft games on your pc so ps is a smarter pick) and finally friends (crossplatform isnt available for all games so if ALL your friends are on one platforme I recomend picking that one). Anyway both are good options tbh, people will try and make u belive one is shit and one is good but thats just not true.

if ur really from India, the xbox is really good I feel and the game pass sub has really good support. Even a series S is fine for the next few years and if u have financial reasons its not a bad option. Graphic fidelity will slightly decrease on some games if ur trynna run it on 4k and higher than 60 fps , slight loading time diff but other than that not much.
