its because of the language barrier and they thought curry could replicate what xeta was doing while speaking a native tongue, on top of that curry was teammates with some of the c9 boys in cs so they thought it would mesh well.

yes he does, in fact he has the exact same reason as vanity to lie, because if the transfer ends up not working out (as it looks like it did) they can play it as "ok, we were forced to sell xeta because he didn't want to be with us so we had to do our best in a difficult situation". Regardless, you are assuming that the CEO knew every part of the reasoning, maybe the c9 roster internally told xeta they wanted him off and then they went to the c9 staff with that in mind
