Is it just me or this match is more hype than the Masters' final?

Some people will say that Sentinels is just a team of streamers and they are more interested in being in the spotlight than the actual results.
I'm sure that you agree with me that the "storytelling" is what makes everything more exciting in life and that's what this match is about.

Will our renown hero Shroud lead Sentinels to the victory?
Will the couple TenZ/Shroud work out and the combination of old/new talent get the shit done?

All teams in LCQ are very strong and determinate but The Sentinels may be some unusual "underdogs" in this situation and aren't we all hoping that they will pull a rabbit out of the hat?

Thats the point nowadays, nobody watches sentinels because they think they will gonna win something, they just watch now just to be entertained. To be honest its pretty hype to see them play, hope they do some damage this LCQ

maybe there is more hype in this match than the grand final of copenhagen, but this doesnt mean that the gameplay will be greater lmao
sentinels fanbase is huge, thats why the hype, and because of shroud too.

Yes sure. The entertainment is much more than raw gameplay though!

It won't be an easy match, The Guard has a lot to prove too. Both teams had the time to prepare and study.
Their first match may very well be their most difficult one!

i don't watch VCT from another countries, only from Brazil, so i can't think why The Guard fell so hard, can you explain me please? They won the first VCT 2022 and then now are losing to tier 2 teams?

Guard had a really good showing in the NA tourny to qualify. They were also one of the few teams that played together in-person for it. Make what you want of that.

After losing on LAN they havent seemed to get back into rhythm. Its also one of those situations where it could be a bad run of form now, or they were hitting peak performance when they won

It could be because of so many things. Sometimes it comes down just to mere morale and confidence!
That's why Shroud is such a wild card as his influence may affect the team morale
