Why are people refusing to accept this fact?
I mean he isnt incorrect as that's from the champs but if you love numbers then here's one more for you:

I'd guess if you gave Derke 100+ rounds to equal Yay's round count, they'd still be in the same places to eachother, or Derke would be higher because he'd done it before, as in the champions one above... Both are fine in my opinion, but the margin speaks for itself... Just my two cents...
But someone would say, "Derke is edging out Yay on Chamber": https://www.vlr.gg/event/stats/1014/valorant-champions-tour-stage-2-masters-copenhagen?exclude=12560.12561.12562.12563.12564.12565.12566.12567&min_rounds=0&agent=chamber ... and they'd be correct ... by a small margin but still...
^^^That is, of course, if we said in approximate terms and ignored the difference of rounds played (-80) between the two. However, up until somewhere over a 1k+ rounds were played (more=better ofc), neither Yay's, nor the total rounds played by any other masters contestants, would give us a reliable sample for any thorough head to head rating.
Time period glimpses such as short/instant masters events in general will always remain just glimpses - should be viewed as a possible periods of assessment for teams/players ... Perhaps a lengthier, season like league environment would bring us closer to accurately ranking any players in question, given that both compete there against each other as well as the same opponents. Up untill then, things will always remain ambigous, especially when ranking up players that statistically perform close to each other throughout different occasions - our time period here.
P.S. I can't say much about Derke against. FPX with the sub other than Derke's ability to perform well and SEIDER's reasonably solid form vs. Derke in duels: https://www.vlr.gg/112321/fnatic-vs-funplus-phoenix-valorant-champions-tour-stage-2-masters-copenhagen-ubqf/?game=all&tab=performance - PERFORMANCE TAB!
i mean i agree yay probably adds more to his team then leo does (though i think leo is more unreplaceable)
but what the team as a whole has achieved is a pretty poor argument when comparing individuals
one had to play with russ one didn't
(i love russ but let's be honest he's the weakest link in that guild roster)
I know you're talking about OPTIC as a team and not only Yay's sole effort here... Just trying to emphasize Optic's team effort in general that lead them towards their final placement.
Though #29 FoechiGG's response to Leo vs Optic holds some truth. From their first clash, Leo dominated all Optic players across all duels except Marved, who he failed to outkill by one frag to equalise their score throughout all duels.
