tbh i have a hard time seeing it as a tier1 competitive game that will make it big. but content creators seem to have a really good time with valorant.

CS:GO > Valorant in terms of set in stone mechanics but constant meta changes make valorant very competitive. Valorant is easier to start with and is more fun to watch(other then CS tournys)
Val much better for content but that doesn’t mean it won’t do good competitively… it’s already much bigger than a lot of other games. Cs only has montages and funny voice comms (or unique game modes if you’re WarOwl or nadeking). But Val has constant maps and agent releases meaning agent setups/lineups will always be produced, a easy access custom match making shit like “5 irons vs 1 radiant” videos doable (cs has this too I guess), it has montages and voicecomms like CS, and it’s much more entertaining and digestible IMO. CS streams are either gambling or boring dudes shift walking around a map making a few callouts and looking at the sky for a pixel perfect smoke and flash lineup
bruh of course a sandbox game will own a comp fps
You can literally do anything in minecraft
It is working well for both. Its 100% more fun to watch and I think that over all its better not seeing 1 team dominating for more tournies. Although there are consistent teams like fnc,kru,optic/envy that are keeping their place in competitive valorant
