Valorant don't have a big cult in Europe, it will probably take years to grow one. Filling or barely filling 3k arena is not an achievement, it's an embarrassment.
No one advertised Antwerp and Cologne much, yet 20k and 15k people respectively were in the crowd on final days. No one advertised it. That's what you call csgo cult.
Cologne been around for like a decade & it built up to being a prestigious event. As CSGO grew so did the events... That's kind of how this works lol. And whether you see selling out a 3k venue a success or not is irrelevant to the fact there's interest being shown even in a market that has basically 0 presence in the scene.
Now, if Instanbul has trouble selling seats THEENNNN we can start looking at Valorant's esport scene in a bad way.
Yeah.. I'm pretty sure it is because CSGO is obviously really big in Denmark, but also someone explained how there was many news about Astralis etc so many who don't even follow CSGO know Astralis and want to cheer for them and see them play. Aka there's many who don't know anything about the other teams. Even when some Danish players like Karrigan or whole of Heroic were playing the crowd was pretty sleeper, but when Astralis was playing it was loud.
