Starting in lowers kind of sucks, is my point. My point is that the situation for FPX is quite dire. Unknown whether Suygetsu will arrive for Groups, even if they qual and get Suygetsu, they're going up against FNC first. That's really rough.

No, it's because that's how seeding works.
#1 seed groups gets to go against #1 seed from a "minor region".
#2 goes against a "major region".

That's how it worked last Masters. If FPX wanted to avoid going up against Fnatic they should have gotten 1st in Groups. Same goes for OpTic.

Shit format because all teams are very close to each other but the seeding logic makes sense.
