Can we just talk about this logo change from ChiefsESC for a sec?

Even from a graphic design standpoint the new one sucks, wtf were they thinking? just becoming some ugly ass shit

The old logo is better I agree.

From a graphic designer perspective, i think they could be family variants. This is called a "refresh" sometimes.
The odd thing here is that brands usually do this on the other way (from detailed to more flat).

Maybe it's reflect of a budget matter.

It’s not nearly as bad as Evil Geniuses original rebrand. Went from such an iconic logo in esports to the most generic and ugly piece of shit imaginable. Thankfully they changed it again, although I still prefer the original.
