You argument doesnt make the other wrong, yes, PRX won against only 1 seed (G2 was not seed 1) but NA and EU teams will get further than the other SEA, Japan, KR and SA regions

Eu had 1 meme team (G2), 1 team with 2 subs and 1 team that shouldnt be there.
NA has OpTic and Guard had a honeymoon period and qualifying directly into playoffs didnt help.

But read again my comment, All of the non qualified teams in NA and EU would probably beat non qualified teams in the other regions, that's what i mean.

it wouldnt make sense for orgs to compete if there is only 1 slot. look at korea, you have drx which is completely dominant, the reason being other orgs dont see a feasible reason to actually put effort if theres only 1 slot, otherwise there would be hella competition. franchising will potentially fix this issue, since there are more slots to go around.
