Hey, I made a few tierlists of teams that I think have the highest chances of making it into the franchised league based off of leaks and general info on what Riot are looking for:
APAC North
S: EDG, DRX, ZETA
A: DK, CR, DGW
B: ONS, RC, Nth, SG
C: CNJ, FAV, WBG
D: TYLOO, TOE, DTN, SZ, RIG
F: FPX ZQ, KONE, WGS, MARU, IGZ

APAC South
S: BLD, TS, XIA
A: PSJ, CES, PRX, ORD, TLN
B: Mith, BME, ONIC, AE, GFN, RRQ, NGX, OGT, GE, VLT
C: BTR, FCY, BRN, AAA, FS
D: TDK, NXP
F: GMN, MF, SPE, X10C, ENGM, FPG
(I don’t know which SA org has the highest chance so I just put them in B tier)

Let me know what I messed up and what teams I should put higher/lower (S/A = High Chances, B/C = Slight Chance, D/F = No Shot)

actually good website.. I feel in the coming years they'll be one of the wealthiest organisation in India..as they have many good rosters across different games

Having good rosters in different games doesn't make you rich lol. Look at S8uL, they only have rosters in 2-3 games and they're the richest and the only in India currently in profit. You need proper branding and rep to be profitable in esports. Content is very important, Nadeshot has been preaching this since forever

For the franchise teams would teams be only regional players (like all from same subregion) or will we see more teams like PRX with multiple people from different regions

Riot could order a custom request if they wants to have sorf of regional representations but franchising elimates the need of having 3 players from same sub region/region

franchising will only have teams represent region but not the players.. mostly you can have any player...thats how it should work.

If count money only pretty sure PSJ will be SSS tier.
Their main org is the biggest football org in Indonesia.

i agree, the only reason I didn’t rate them as highly is because Xerxia already has such a high chance to get in and I doubt they allow two Thai teams

from what i know, heres some changes id make to your list based off what ive been told

S: DRX, DK, ZETA, BLD, TS, XIA (SBXG/KT)
Orgs supporting Val from the beginning/large commitment, reputable names and overall biggest orgs in Asia. Most likely of these are very likely to make it.
+LCK orgs have been approached by Riot in regards to franchising (as is with all League regions likely) and SBX + KT have shown the most interest in Valorant as of now.

A: CR, PSJ, ORDER, EDG, RNG, TLN, IG
Many of these orgs are pretty big in their own right (especially PSJ) but for the most part the reason for them not making it is mostly due to either not being enough slots or some other factors. Most likely of these imo are CR and PSJ, ORDER if OCE is getting a slot. EDG, IG, and RNG are complicated as god knows when China is getting approved for VAL, and who knows what their plan is as of now

A-: BOOM, ONIC, RRQ, NGX
Other massive orgs in their own right but as goes with the A tier teams, it’d be a small chance for them to make it over other preestablished names

B: MITH, DGW, ONS, RIG, other big-name SEA/JP/KR orgs
Low chance already but could have a small chance if they stand out well enough. Highest chance out of these is MITH especially with FPSThailand under their belt

No: X10C, PRX

Anything below this is a no unless some miracle happens. Most notably Paper Rex, who is in a veryyyy very tight situation right now as its a near no chance PRX on their own makes franchising. Would have to take either a buyout (roster/org) or big partnership or even just a miracle acceptance for them to make it. PRX is a small org as much as it hurts to say and theyve faced massive issues in the past with financials etc.

South Asia would also have to take a miracle for them to be accepted. Despite how big orgs are such as S8ul, GE, VLT, etc. the region alone simply isnt developed/stable enough for them to make it. Godlike alone is hurting SA due to their poaching scandal against TSM. Highest likely org to make it out of SA is Orangutan or someone like S8ul etc and to be quite honest there’s no clue whether they have a shot or not.

As below your post, I'm pretty sure riot ain't looking at financial situations since they themselves are giving money to teams, to look for teams with alot of money despite that seems very counter-intuitive since this is a completely different franchising model from any past one with riot finding teams and GIVING them money rather that teams buying it. If it was the 2nd one then ye PRX does not have enough money for it

Its to avoid orgs delay/late payment to it's players which is very frequent in esports. With franchising the minimum salary of the players are increased alot and if the org has bad financial situation, they may not be able to pay the players.

Ok fair enough but I never heard of delayed or late payment scandals from PRX? And from what I seen the players and the team staff and boss are all very close, so it seems even less likely for them to actually have any of those financial difficulty considering they also have a decent amount of sponsors, albeit not big.

Yes, it’s true Riot is the ones giving the money. However, they’re looking for the orgs that are stable and reputable enough in terms of operations.
There’s no doubt Bleed outmatches PRX, as I and other APAC insighters can most likely agree on. Bleed’s founder himself said f0rsaken is paid “pennies” compared to what other players of his caliber get. Benkai also talked about past struggles that the org had financially (back when they were PRX CSGO) and that brings them down in stability/reputability.

In short Riot wants the biggest names who have the most tenure/positive repetoire to themselves. Bleed alone is raising 30 million dollars in investments, does Riot not look at that in a positive light for such a new org? That alone is similar to that of orgs like 100T who are raising 50 million in investment funds, and that’s in a much more stable region

While yes bleed have garnered alot of investment, it was from a singular sponsor, and even then they haven't produced any results with the money and fanbase aren't exactly big. I could counter it with the fact that despite having so much investments, there wasn't really any reputable results except them having alot of money.

I HIGHLY doubt bleed will get in before PRX

Fanbase wise bleeds is nonexistent compared to PRX

Financial wise I dont think their income statement and cash flow statements are looking too hot right despite having a lot of capital

They recieved a 50 mil injection from VC funding, if they dont get into franchising those investors are gonna pull the fk out

Agreed besides would prx players stay with prx when there are 9 other teams willing to pay way more than prx and if prx do match other orgs offers will their financial situation be stable?

When Jinggg leaves the team for military service, good chance forsaken will look into overseas offers at that point. the org could easily discontinue its Valorant roster at that point. Just hoping they can win Copenhagen or Champions and go out with a bang

I would say PRX have a higher chance than bleed cuz riot aren't really looking for who have the most money Cause they themselves are already providing the money, plus BoDork leaks suggests that Riot are looking at fanbase and support teams have, which PRX is Def miles better than Bleed in that aspect.

I seen people put bleed over PRX due to their financial difference but with riot themselves giving money to teams, it's counter- intuitive to find teams with money over team with fame tbh.

Ye but riot valorant franchising approach is absolutely different though, in league it's mostly teams buying into the slots, or relegations and promotions.

Valorant is riot themselves finding teams and giving them financial support from a leak at blix.gg that BoDork reference

You did great but some of this might get picked up by NA or EU orgs, as both Americas and EMEA can also apply for a slot in ASIA region... in SA GE/VLT might get a slot but chances are thin... coz many big ORGS are there

This is based off my gut feeling but I think GenG might get a franchising spot in APAC, theyve been holding training camps and academy teams in KR since the beginning, and theres 0 shot they get into NA franchising
