I wish there was a way to report someone as a smurf, then have valorant match all the reported smurfs together in ranked, thus making it impossible for them to rank up and preventing them from smurfing again

report "cheating" then say "smurfing" in the comments. i have gotten many people permanently banned that way.

yeah i remember one time there was this homophobic guy who was throwing cuz smn on our team was gay, and everyone in the lobby reported and like 5 mins after the game ended (we lost) an in game notification said he was banned

what if someone was just having a good game? like you could match a person who had a good game and dropped 30 in lobbies with actual higher ranked players

well riot also has access to their other games in the said persons career tab so they probably wouldn't just base it all off a lobby reporting someone for smurfing

that would make sense in theory, but if it's a smurf account, the player probably doesn't care about their elo, and might just throw ranked games to get into easier lobbies for fun. thats why it's probably best to ban the account, at least imo.

well if that person is thorwing the account should be banned, if they are better than the people in their skill group they should be put in a higher rank. which i think be can agree on

+1 you really can't ever know if someone is smurfing (especially not off reporting them in one match lol), like imagine some top csgo pro moves over and just get banned because they have good aim
