how did this happen?
Let's be fair, Shahz was the IGL and coach for a while and he shouldve been responsible for pracs
The other teams got better???
Lmao they were good in a heavily aim dominated meta
not enough practice with comps, strats, and overall it seems like they have bad coordination
too much streaming, lack of passion, lack of drive to win, no motivation to practice, lack of coaching staff (coach/analysts), not adapting to the meta (no chamber for ages), too many excuses
The scenario evolved really fast, and SEN didn't try hard enough to keep up.
not putting in enough work
u cant cheat practice in this game the meta changes frequently and u need to put down work to be able to stay on top
Bro you switched to Optic flair right after the Masters win. Stop being plastic
At least stick to a team lmao
yeah maybe bc i want to support a team that actually cares about their org unlike sen lmao useless talent in a roster
I honestly want Shahz out of this team. I think he is the main problem in SEN. He just wants to stream and earn money that is it, no competitive drive at all. If anyone disagrees, feel free to reply.
More time to practice, to go through VODs, strats and so on. I am not saying he shouldn't stream at all, he definitely should, but IMO streaming should come second to competing, which is not the case with Shahzam.
That depends. If you don't have good players or good strats obviously not, but if you have really good players, like SEN does, practicing definitely helps a lot.
Yeah, I agree with that, but I think streaming Valorant for hours does that too, although not as much. Either way, I still believe Shahz needs to be replaced or step down from the IGL position, I don't think he has the right mentality to continue. I don't know what SEN are gonna do, probably nothing since they are not like the other orgs which care a lot about winning, but who knows, they might get some of the LG guys.
He is forced to stream, and he was pretty good with his routine till this downfall .He needs some support & TIME
It's unbelievable people keep spamming that "ToO mUcH StReAmInG" bs, the other teams got better, Sen isn't adapting to the metas well, they do practice.
where tf did ya'll got that "stream too much" theory anyways?
Derrek streams all the time, S0m streams all the time, Xeppa streams all the time, they are doing fine. It's not a "Streaming" problem.
Plus, do you think not streaming means they're in practice? They have lives outside Valorant.
yeah but those players can afford to stream because their teams get good results in officials, if your team is total dogwater and you still stream 9 hours a day instead of putting more of those hours into practice than people will criticize you (especially if you're a championship winning team like Sentinels)
The truth is, Shahz streams in his own free time. As I mentioned, him not streaming does not equal him practicing.
Also, good results? NRG is bottom of their group, C9 is 1-2, only 100T (Derrek's team) is likely making it out of groups. This doesn't mean they are bad teams, not at all, it just means competition is tough in NA.
I totally agree, I think people are blaming SEN's flat looks on lack of preparation and commitment, but I think that the real problem is that Sentinels are kinda holding onto the methods of success that they won with a year ago.
Yup, it is just people who don’t actually understand the game so just go for the most obvious excuse of ‘too much streaming’
No, He lost his dad in the pandemic, and He has to take care of his family ! along with his career.
I understand the second part, but if he cannot do the competitive part, he should get replaced by someone else and maybe take a different position, like an assistant coach or sth. I know about his dad, but that was more than a year ago, during the First Strike.
how do you even know this to be a fact, it sounds like you're just assuming shit
Players getting subbed in and out is already tough for them to get used to. Just give them a break ya'll they tried what they could.
