the issue might not even be the prac but the mindset and the environment in the team,as a leader of the team you should be the first to figure out wtf is wrong with the team,put the extra hours in to improve and put competing as your number 1 priority (if you really from the heart want to be the best),you have to either focus on competing or streaming long term,cant be both but he doesnt seem to understand it
he doesn't need to stop streaming but expecting everyone to believe your working your hardest and streaming almost daily 5-8 hours in a week and malding about every criticism about their team doesnt add up,if his so confident the streaming has nothing to do with it and they are going in the right direction why does he not just ignore the obviously wrong criticism or make a public statement or interwiew about what he thinks is wrong with the team and how their gonna fix it to give some clarity and hope about the situation for the fans instead of crying on twitter when people try to speculate wtf is wrong with the team
When you get so much hate, critism might also feel like hate. I can't personally relate, but always try to understand the other person's perspective. He's under so much pressure to run a team, keep himself and his family fed and well after his father died, so yes hate and critism might get mixed up. Let him be
Lets be honest? Doesnt matter what he says, how many hours he streams, blablabla. His judgment will be based by the results the team achieves
Atleast he is not a disrespectful person like Jamppi who consistently streams CSGO and gives declarations that he is going to leave the game in a few months lol
yeah jamppi is the disrespectful person literally admitting he will probably go back to cs at some point since iceland,also his last cs stream was 11 streams ago lmao,and he said himself the critism was partly his fault because he decided to stream cs before the season and understood it might have given the image he doesn't care,unlike shahzam who is constantly crying about every single mean comment and thinks everyone else is wrong and he is right
Tbh him comparing himself with steel shows his mentality, like steel isn't even playing the tournament and his year is basically over so ofc he is streaming. He always does this, a team isn't gonna do better if they keep comparing themselves with people/teams worse than them. when SEN was sucking at the end of last year he was comparing himself and his team to TSM and NRG and making himself feel better about it! Imo when you lead a team like SEN with such a massive fanbase and expectation you gotta look forward. There's nothing wrong with streaming cz the scene is very volatile. Look at what happened to LG, you gotta look out for yourselves. But Shahz's approach to it as a pro is wrong imo.
hopefully the situation improves because the hate they're getting on top of family emergency issues is just making things worse. people act as if their opinion matters or if they criticize they're "helping" the team. it really isn't that hard to keep your mouth shut, especially to people who don't care about you and are already going through tough times.
