https://www.vlr.gg/event/984/champions-tour-stage-2-emea-challengers/group-stage why are 10 of the teams from challengers 1 (except big ik about promotion) in the group stage already? i thought only top 4 stayed and the rest got into closed quals. how would new teams qual then?

its different in emea because they have the vrl league which u need to win for qualification

bottom 2 teams get relegated to the promotion tournament
the other 10 qualify directly to challengers 2

the other teams already had qualifers through VRLs
