boring qualifers

Personally I don't see any of these teams beating the top 4 NA (OG, C9, XSET, TGRD)
I was excited for NYFU and Ghost but unlucky really.
Only team that has a chance would be V1 with full roster to touch the top 4 imo.

imo ghost still has a decent chance, I think it was koalanoob that posted on twitter that the night before qualifiers the airbnb the team was staying at got robbed, and they were all up until 9AM. given that, I'd guess they were all just exhausted

NRG has a SOLID chance they didnt lose a single map the entire time
FAZE has a chance of beating Xset and maybe the tgrd tbh
the others might struggle but they got time to prep
no one expect the guard to do so well before they came to the group stage and then they got better each match so Im expecting the same with these other "new" teams

I mean the teams that qualify through opens may not be at the top 4’s level yet, but the way the group stage is they will have like 7 weeks before playoffs to get to that level. Depending on how the teams that qualify practice, they could improve rapidly over the course of the group stage.

NRG is a good team but they just dont have the edge to beat any of the top teams.
And faze are just a hold W team they won't do shit vs well organized teams

V1 is not even in their final form

nrg, even if v1 qualifies today the basically need to start from scratch with wippie since they haven't played together a month

faze is fun to watch

most teams have barely any practice at all, if they can get into groups i think they will play much better than they are rn since they get actual time to practice

what lmao they beat these teams and they obviously been working on their roster. You act like teams just can't improve or just stay the same for months.
