you think if we get crowd masters in germane or NA we get full staduim?
will master 2 have crowd anyone know
YvngKurry [#2]Probs not. Champs was a mess with Covid and 2 people at masters have already contracted it. I think if they introduce a crowd they would not be able to control it.
but how cs and other game have crowd full? they dont test and let players play with covid?
because i saw everyone got covid but 0 affect only the test

I think riot just wants to be sure they can keep everything under control. Riot is still new to conducting Val lans and I think we should let them take their time with introducing crowds for the safety of everyone.

I think we give them enough time
they have 10 year experince in lans so it shouldnt matter.
LAN control is the same in every game its security protocol etcc...
maybe production talent they are new to FPS but lan they are most exp of everyone
juno_VLR [#8]How about engineered crowd noise? Like have an audio engineer pump in noise when a crowd would normally cheer. American football did this during a fan-less COVID season.
I think american football is 60-70% about crowd and games will be boring without crowd specially final games
but esport is used to be online anyway so crowd is not big factor. So I think either we have real crowd or just stick to online
thanatos11 [#7]No lie I always find esports crowds weird like who flies to another country to watch sushi boys play valorant
what if its in the same country

+1 , CSGO did this.
VALoka [#11]what if its in the same country
Kinda get it but I would feel legit so weird at esports arena

guy cares to much about other peoples opinion

How I feel doesn’t matter or? It would just be awkward there
wisawis [#13]+1 , CSGO did this.
do you know an event off the top of your head that used this? i’d love to go watch a highlights vid to see how well they did it.
thanatos11 [#16]How I feel doesn’t matter or? It would just be awkward there
Have you never traveled for a sport event? Its the same
Nisham [#20]Have you never traveled for a sport event? Its the same
Different connection to sports team I mean half the time I don’t even care who wins in the liquid games I just like watching

Ngl I would love to attend an eSports Val event if I get the chance. Would be so great man
hekzy [#24]I mean the production is too dogshit to even host any event, let alone an event with a crowd. It's been 2 years and we still have a broken HUD 90% of the time. It will probably take them 30 years to book a venue.
Just needs to change their eSports event managing team.... it's not a flaw that can't be fixed lol....they just seem to have a great team for handling eSports events.
thanatos11 [#7]No lie I always find esports crowds weird like who flies to another country to watch sushi boys play valorant
People do it constantly for csgo major
zz [#22]nope p sure csgo also did it. It was something thru twitch extension where more people tapping the icon was equivalent to the noise iirc
That was TI10
thanatos11 [#14]Kinda get it but I would feel legit so weird at esports arena
i thought this at first but when i went esl cologne 2017 you see all the other people that support the same team as you cheering and the commentating and the vibe is unreal especially in like semis and finals
i went for c9 for esl cologne and they made finals was very lit

Nahh, league already have crowd riot surely know how to organize a man with crowd
Taramissu [#33]I think if they can manage the event right they can definitely have 500+ crowd. Esp if the event held in NA/Japan idk about EU tho
500 is an embarrassment bro
wisawis [#35]That's what im saying. If im not mistaken. It happened in PGL group stage. I was in the stream when that happened, even the chat was malding about it. saying it's cringe and some saying it's cool.
PGL also hosted TI10 that's why youre confused
Taramissu [#32]Nahh, league already have crowd riot surely know how to organize a man with crowd
they likely have different budgets and completely different teams working on the two gaming events.
thanatos11 [#7]No lie I always find esports crowds weird like who flies to another country to watch sushi boys play valorant
i was at the Stockholm major finale, it's such a nice atmosphere. indescribable honestly :)
thanatos11 [#21]Different connection to sports team I mean half the time I don’t even care who wins in the liquid games I just like watching
Put it this way.
If you were a football fan and the world cup was held in your home country but you could go watch 4 matches in one day including your favourite team. Whats wrong with that? I think the main difference would be the demographic but if you care about the age, personality, race, clothes, ideology or anything like that then there is a deeper issue.
