If you were a football fan and the world cup was held in your home country but you could go watch 4 matches in one day including your favourite team. Whats wrong with that? I think the main difference would be the demographic but if you care about the age, personality, race, clothes, ideology or anything like that then there is a deeper issue.

they likely have different budgets and completely different teams working on the two gaming events.

I think one of the teams who auto qual'd for playoffs will win. Specifically Guard or paper rex. DRX look good though and tbf they never had a chance to auto qual for playoffs.
