CS:GO teams play each other much more frequently than they do in VALORANT and they don't have the same meta shifts that VALORANT does. VLR's rankings are also still in beta and HLTV have been tweaking theirs for years.
hmm ok but like the esports has been around for nearly 3 years now so it would be appreciated to have a ranking system
ZETA changed their core in December and it makes no sense to keep their previous ranking when the they have a new roster essentially.
if they didnt play a match, you are right.
but Zeta qualified to Masters with the new members.
and also, JP region should be parted from Asia-Pacific as it is parted in offical regional division.
Just Imo.
They didn't play until February 17th and then had to play 5 placements so only their 3 most recent games counted towards improving their ranking.
there's virtually zero interplay between japanese teams and the rest so it's pretty much impossible to correctly rank them with the rest of the APAC teams
will be splitting japan into its own separate region tonight
its a points system it doesnt show the current form but rather level in idk how much months span, it works for cs because there are a lot of tourneys but in valorant we barely see teams play so honestly its kinda hard to have accurate rankings, qualification to international lans that define your whole year come down to two insane teams who can beat eachother on a good day, imagine deffo actually won that 0.02 clutch and gambit made iceland and fnatic didnt make it in lowers, they could still be one of the best itw but cant prove it cuz you lose 1 match you are fucked
