Since Sen is probably going to bomb the rest of the event, we have to face the fact that roster changes have to be made. The issue is, idk were to start.
What would you suggest?
"Got better" they arguably did better at M3, they won against a really good G2, and held their ground against the eventual finalists, at champs they lost against Liquid in arguably their worst performance (talking about liquid here) narrowly won against Furia who wasn't that good, and got out of the tournament against KRU before they reached their champs peak. If anything they were the same SEN we saw at M3, only good thing was that Rawkus actually knew what a tac pause was
Rebuild around Shahz, Dapr, and SicK. By no means do I think that Zombs and TenZ are bad players, both are individually insane, just not what this team needs. As meme as it is, bringing Sinatraa back can fix a lot of the role issues that this team experiences (Sova/raze flex), and allows Shahz to play a much more comfortable role on Jett. SEN would have no issues had Shahz been a sova player to begin, but he is definitely much more comfortable on Jett IMO. TenZ is mechanically very good, however, his limited agent pool (just Jett and Reyna) and his rather frequent inconsistency lean me away from keeping him. I think a lot of players would want to be on SEN regardless of how they perform in this event, just because of the support the org has, the insane career and PR boost being a part of this team is associated with (the brand), and the leadership and experience of Shahz, SicK, and Dapr. Any up-and-coming smokes player could join sentinels, my best choice would 100% be skuba on PKS right now, he's just way too good to pass up on, however, the PKS boys look loyal to one another so poaching him would not be easy at all.
Regardless of what I said above, this team could still work, but their gameplay looks off and they aren't playing like Masters Reykjavik, rather they look flat at times, and the type of depth I see from teams like OpTiC, C9, XSET, and The Guard.
All of this plus a coach and culture shift could vault SEN back into the limelight, but I think this team needs 4 or 5 more months to figure it out regardless of whether they change the roster or keep it, add a coach, etc.
best of luck
Play t2 events and flex roles try putting tenz on a rifle agent like maybe neon or something weird kayo maybe and when he is rifling shaz on op keep dapr on his controller sentinel and zombs needs to find a way to provide the value they need from him or hes gonna be dropped and sick is fine cause tbh hes the only player who can play the role they need
