FPX only needs to win against liquid/G2 to qualify, possibly stealing a spot from guild/Fnatic or M3C without even having to compete against them for it.

Any format that allows you to qualify to Iceland by only beating one of the worse teams in the competition is unfair
They have played for weeks with 5 games now, you can't say only 1 , and they dont fight for 1st for no reason

Playoffs are a completely different thing because you’re putting teams that haven’t met before to compete
Maybe you dont know sports very well and how they work but thats exactly why seeding is so important. If you fight and win good seeding these are the ways that you are rewarded. You are boiling it down to winning 1 game but its not that simple. They had to win a ton of games just to be invited to groups. Then they had to win a bunch of hard groups games to get 1st seed. NOW They only need to win 1 MORE game to seal the deal. And if they win that game they will have earned it. Its that simple. You are giving a 1 head take tbh

The team that topped the group should gain an advantage Fpx topped the group because they beat a top 3 team in the world and now have benefitted from that. Anyway they still need to beat G2 or liquid and if they do that no one can question if they deserve it or not

Should've started 3rd seeds in the lower bracket instead of giving 1st seeds an advantage. That way there's at least 2 games till qualification.

They went 4-1 in the groups stage, they deserved the first place. All the teams knew the format before the tournament starts. Everyone knew if they make a good group stage they could secure a spot easily. This is how meritocracy works dude wtf
