I would argue the opposite, they've invested a ton of money into this team already and I don't see them turning back now and quitting on the project.

I can see that, however I dont see tsm giving bang away unless its a huge win for them. Second of all, 100T passed on the opportunity to pick up zander and cryo. We may never know the true reason however many speculate their buyout was a reason. If it was, I dont see them picking up bang.

People are literally making up shit that disagrees with reality lol. 100T has never had problems with money/buyouts. On top of what you said about those 2 not as well-known as they are now, Nadeshot also said on that stream that there were certain players who were talking about switching from cs:go who ended up not doing the switch and the timing of everything else behind the scenes that didn't pan out made 100T end up with what they had in 2022. (My guess is that brehze rumor which didn't pan out).

He shoulda just taken a trial, honestly better for cryo and zanders career that they didnt sign w/ 100t. Nadeshot literally just figured out how to do a loan/trial with bang and jcstani. Man signed baby/ec1s and cut them after 2 wks LMFAO.

Then 100T management clearly isn't doing much research. Zander and Cryo were clearly young stars who were bound to bloom with an established team. Bang is similar to cryo and zander in a way. He's young and has a lot of potential. I doesnt make sense why they dont to for cryo/zander and go for bang

Your scenario isn't likely what's happening. Either
(1) The loan contracts would either have a predetermined buyout (so it's not performance based like Tenz's buyout) or
(2) the buyout is the standard purchase of whatever the rest of his contract is from TSM (e.g. if it was a 3 year contract, then 100T pays TSM the rest of what they owe Bang).
It would be incredibly bad for the scene if teams can just spike contract prices after an individual's performance mid-negotiations.

there are other players besides cryo and zander in the off season who could've been on the market and ended up not. There were rumors of cned, brehze from csgo, etc.

Anyways its no secret that bang is a young star so regardless, his standard buyout is high up there. It will be interesting to see if 100T buyout or not.
