Masters 1 Regional Slots Distribution?

Just guessing based on the info we have atm.

-If they go with 10 teams like iceland:
North America: 2 slots
EMEA: 2 slots
Brazil: 2 slots
Korea: 1 slot
Japan: 1 slot
APAC: 1 slot
Latin America: 1 slot
either KR or BR get 1 or 2 slots since the other regions dont have as much depth of competition (imo) in comparison to them

-If they go with 16 teams like berlin:
North America: 2 slots
EMEA: 4 slots
Brazil: 2 slots
Korea: 2 slots
Japan: 1 slots
APAC: 2 slots
Latin America: 2 slots
for the last they either give it to JP or APAC gets 3. most likely JP for consistency maybe? but idk

this is assuming that since APAC now includes oceania they might want to give them an additional slot and also japan hasnt been performing very well in comparison
PD: no way theyre going with 8 team format since they would unavoidably end with at least 9 teams cuz BR and NA are confirmed to have 2 slots

No need for LATAM to get 2. Isn't much competition aside from KRU

I belive they succes should trigger more chances for region. Like in football if one club in country get good scores in champions league or europa league whole country get points in ranking and maybe in future more teams can compete. Same should be in valorant imo. If region is playing super bad (like JP) they should get less slots and get them back if they start to perform. But from marketing/viewership point of view NA should have 4 slots lol

You're using champions to justify why 2 regions should get an additional 2 slots. In that case idk how in the world NA would deserve 3 slots based off their performances in champions.

Point is, if Champions is solely enough to justify 2 more slots to 2 different regions (sea and latam have not done relatively well in previous tourneys), then Champions is more than enough to justify NA not getting 3 slots due to their relatively poor performance.
