For streaming too much ?? He literally only stream Valorant, Radiant ranked games, that's also practice individual skills. Pros usually scrims 3h/day same with KR LoL players, other than that they just play rank

It's honestly because people don't know what they're talking about. Sentinels played by far the most official matches last year, had to travel to every single international event, and had the biggest target on their back after Iceland. A lot of the times they aren't scrimming it's because they're trying to get a break from such a rigorous schedule.

they travelled on first class as well
kristof [#17]they travelled on first class as well
It's not only that it's the sheer volume of games they had to play. Acend/Gambit for example both had a 2 month break in the middle of the year because they didn't qualify for Masters 2, and all that time they got to relax/come up with new strats the other teams (Sentinels, V1, Liquid, Fnatic) were travelling, dealing with COVID shit and prepping for the first ever LAN. You saw it with Liquid, Fnatic and V1 too none of them even made Masters 3 and Fnatic only made Champions due to Gambit giving the region and extra slot.

Obviously I'm a Shahz fan so I'm biased but there is clear evidence of teams underperforming after being at LAN's. Look at how V1, Fnatic and Liquid all didn't even make Masters 3 after being at Masters 2. All the teams that missed Masters 2 and stayed at home to scrim/relax did much better at Masters 3. G2 looked great at Masters 3 then did poorly at LCQ. Same thing. 100T as well. Lots of evidence of it happening imo.

Ever heard of a NEW game and it being hard to be consistent

rigorous schedule? LMAO
xtazy [#22]rigorous schedule? LMAO
yes? I don't get what's funny. They played the most official matches last year by far I'm pretty sure and on top of that most of the team (but mainly Shahz) also full-time stream to build their personal brand. They're basically doing 2 full-time jobs at once.
kristof [#14]u can see this is clearly not the case because since they are streaming all day they only getting worse and worse
why you are getting downfrag? for spitting a fact? lol
kristof [#14]u can see this is clearly not the case because since they are streaming all day they only getting worse and worse
I think it's not they are getting "worse and worse", other teams are getting better and better.

Yea coz they aren't streaming all day
downbad [#27]Yea coz they aren't streaming all day
Still just a single winner, I'd rather stream, but that's just me, coz Ima bag chaser 😎😎

Bruh. Masters 3 Berlin held on September and Champions was held on December. They had no matches in between. Wtf u r talking about delusional fan. lol. CSGO teams would be laughing at u if they see this comment. lol

compare that 'rigorous schedule' to other games, valorant is lacking in terms of big tournaments greatly and no teams really have a 'rigorous schedule' except maybe teams like Gambit and Vision Strikers that were practicing all day
also streaming is completely optional. Shahzam has been streaming like 10 hours a day this whole year which is insane considering that he is meant to be the IGL of the team. It's also clear that Shahzam does streaming for the money (he has often complained about losing money as he can't stream as much when he was in Europe lol), which makes sense as he can make bank for playing a video game all day, but it doesn't look good when Sentinels have did shit internationally for most of the year after Iceland
cyk [#18]I mean sentinels choose to not scrim must be a 5 man choice, but when shazam streams a lot that means he has more exposure to public. Nothing better than this scapegoat.
he was also the main person creating strats for the team for a long time so it makes sense that he is getting criticised for streaming all day, while other IGLs would be VOD reviewing

The matches themselves are not rigorous. It's the fact that they played the most matches, went to every tournament, then on top of that Shahz in particular is probably the most consistent streamer out of any pro player, the whole team also is flying from Texas to LA to film content for Sentinels and then also flying to wherever they're from to visit family. If you're just viewing it from the angle of "only 3 international tournaments in 2021" then of course it seems light.
For your second point I guess it depends what you want to get out of your esports career. Streaming is essential to building a brand that lasts past your playing days. If you want to be able to provide for your family in the long term (in Shahz's case this includes his mom who is now widowed because his dad died from COVID) then it's probably more important than pro play honestly lol. At the end of the day pro play in Valorant is not currently setting you up with generational wealth. Streaming has the potential too.

You can say whatever you want but it's literally a fact that Liquid (twice), Fnatic, V1, G2, 100T and even more had significantly worse performances at tournaments right after their LAN performance. When teams can sit and watch you while you have to grind a tournament they have a significant advantage.

funny you didn't mention Gambit
shahzam had the highest acs when they played against kru. although he played breach in one map, i dont get why he gets all the hate. yes he streams a lot. but we cannot blame him for that. no one knows what the future of the game is. what if the game dies all of a sudden.( which is surely a possibility now that neon is here) at least he is securing a career for himself and his family..
downbad [#27]Yea coz they aren't streaming all day
Pro players that don't stream also play ranked
They just don't stream it everyday atleast
Some do like TenZ and Shahz due to their massive fan base
EpicWolf [#12]btw the pracs in EMEA are like 6-8 hrs of pracs per day (Many teams do that. Info of G2, Acend, Gambit, MRS, VGIA), and in KR pracs like 10 to 12 hrs (info of VS, Nuturn pracs more time than VS, but everyone know what happen with them..).
Quality > Quantity
youngbonk [#41]Quality > Quantity
yeah, but not only scrims, have time to practice new strats. Also the "quality" play a bad game to NA in champs...
dapada [#37]funny you didn't mention Gambit
Gambit is literally the only team I can think of all-year that didn't follow the pattern I said.
