in terms of individual success throughout this year, who are the top 5 players?
personally i have (in no particular order) nats, cned, chronicle, tenz, and scream all up there
im probably forgetting someone huh
edtheking12 [#2]bonkar, zombs, potter, jay won&dizzy, prod
how could i forget about prod???????
someone put me in a mental asylum
If we go by the whole year then yay should not be in any list at all. Not saying he was ever bad but the only times he actually became mainstream were during the berlin (masters) qualifiers. And heading into champs. If we go by the entire year then; in no particular order:TenZ, ScreaM, Cned, Nats, and probably Shazam.
number_1_zombs_fan [#12]genuine question, what makes you guys put ScreaM over TenZ on your lists? I feel like TenZ has done better overall this year and achieved more as well.
I would say that it's the fact that after Iceland TenZ never did anything really. In masters Berlin he entertained us with a god awful raze, then bombed out of playoffs. Then in champs he crashed under the pressure and lost the two biggest games of his career. ScreaM was always performing and even when he himself didn't top frag or steal the show his team would step and and pull through. You can be the best player ever but if youre team is trash (not saying SEN is trash this is just a comparison) then you arent going to accomplish anything individually apart from some cool highlights. Because if your teams loses in playoffs then there goes your entire individual chance to accomplish things. Although sucess individually can be seen through stats, a lot of the time you have to accomplish things with your team to actually be successful both as an individual and as a team.

HM: Crashies, ScreaM, Chronicle
For the year of 2021, the top 4 are undisputable(other than the order). However, the 5th spot is disputable imo but I decided to give it to Shahz cause of how great he's played individually this year while also IGLing the most dominant NA team and one of the only 3 teams to make it to Reykjavik, Berlin and Champions.
Ngl I prefer ur list

but TenZ did do things after Masters reykjavik though? he was basically the only player in SEN other than SicK in form for the challengers events which they won and still ended in like top 5 ACS for masters berlin with literally 1 bad Raze map, his champs performance was awful though no defending that. ScreaM on the other hand didn't do anything in masters 1, lost to V1 and Fnatic in reykjavik while putting up good stats, didn't make masters 3, won LCQ and got semis in champs with a sub-par performance for his standards in the group-stage, he did turn it up for playoffs though but his team broke down.

Scream is the most consistent duelist and best reyna in the world.

This is like saying that Keznit should be here. No, mans a beast but he wasnt in iceland. His performance in both Berlin masters, and Champions were great but the whole year he just wasnt there. Tenz in iceland was great, then in Berlin he padded stats against F4q and lost his first match in playoffs. Look at Keloqs man was crushing against everyone during lan but the entire year he wasnt there. Look at heat, this man literally farmed the entire tournament despite not even making it to playoffs, but should we say that he individually accomplished the most? no that's not it. And ScreaM in all his lan appearances put out great numbers. In Iceland he was one of the highest ACS while playing sage (I forgot the specific stat I think it was acs). And in champions when it wasn't the scream show, the entirety of Liquid turned up.
notAGN [#18]how is chronicle and scream above tenz lol
i think its definitely possible to put chronicle above tenz based off the last 2 masters events, but scream over tenz is harder to justify
