Hope he never switches to our beautiful game Valorant hes the biggest shittalker and idiot in all fps games
Some people in t2 aim as good in csgo though, its a mixture of both, people like jasonr who are radiant agree that the skill gap in aim is much smaller in valorant and some games are 50/50 it feels like. And playing csgo and valorant i can say aim is a lot easier in valorant, bigger hitboxes, slower targets etc
The level of play of CS isnt even comparable to Valorant.
CS
-gun skill higher
-harder to aim, need to be more way more precise
-actual movement skill and mechanics
-map awareness
-nade usage and knowledge
-you don’t get rewarded for being dumb, get punished more easily
-recoil control and no run and gun
I can go on but there is no need. Valorant is more forgiving. A lot of the mechanics are dumbed down. Which is fine, it is towards a more casual player base.
> You act like people dont have map awareness, nade usage and knowledge (or abilities) in valorant. for abilities usage, do you think jonas randomly throw dart?
> Recoil control. valorant have recoil control, but for short of time, its also part of anti cheat. thats the reason cs have trash anti-cheat.
> and no run and gun, you can run in gun on close range but not for long range, i do believe cs also have this.
> wym by this? gun skill higher, harder to aim, actual movement skill and mechanics, harder to aim, need to be more way more precise, you don’t get rewarded for being dumb, get punished more easily
It is a lot easier to use your abilities than throw nades and lineups in CS lol.
Recoil control doesn’t exist in Valorant. Sure you can control 5-6 bullets but it’s random after that. Has nothing to do with an anti cheat.
Cs you can run around with rifles and get rewarded with kills. Very rare to get a running kill or jumping shot. In Valorant it’s the norm.
What do I mean by the gun skill is higher? It means there is more skill involved to aiming, shooting, and controlling rifles in CS than Valorant. Anyone can hit headshots in Valorant, you can be a bot and still hit heads easily. The hit boxes are massive. Cs you need to be more precise. Why do you think god Aimers in CS excel in Valorant.
There is no movement skill in Valorant. You don’t even have to counter strafe if you didn’t want too. Your movement stops instantly. Cs movement mechanics feel clean and there is skill to it.
In Valorant you can get kills and rewarded for being stupid and playing dumb. In CS, works maybe once and that’s it. Cs is less forgiving and more punishing.
Movement skill is much higher in CS which is undeniable, but running kills in valorant are quite unlikely at the moment and since the recoil is bad there is more incentive to tap heads, which require tapping heads better.
Also the reason why it might be easier to hit heads is simply due to the fact that the color scheme is meant to make it easier for visibility. It might look fooking gross. But it does definitely help compared to csgo's color scheme.
And anyways "Gun skill" is also really subjective and since it's a multiplayer game the difficulty is set by the players. If valorant can gain a considerable playerbase then it might even become a more difficult game. But if what you mean by difficult is convoluted than csgo definitely takes the cake bc no way in hell am I learning twenty lineups for just one spot. And I can see why people like finding knowledge and just trying that stuff out but I personally just like the ability interactions and the simplified movement.
And who knows, maybe in 10, 20 years everyone will be dashing around like PROD. We really don't know the ceilings of either game and how hard players will be striving for it.
In either game you can do dumb stuff, but it depends on the enemy to punish you on it.
It is actually very easy to get running kills on every map besides Breeze. You can just run around corners with a phantom and there is a good chance you can get a kill by doing so. Not as likely with the Vandal but still can do it.
It is easier to hit heads in Valorant because the size of the hitboxes. The hitboxes in valorant are pretty big compared to other games like cs or r6.
You can say gun skill is subjective but you can't deny the fact it is a lot easier to get kills and aim in Valorant than it is in CS. Riot made Valorant more casual and noob friendly. The mechanics of the game are quite dumbed down making it easier to get good at it and master compared to other games. That is what I mean by gun skill is higher in CS. It is harder to master the AK, M4, than it is to master the Vandal or Phantom. If we were talking about raze satchels, there is some comparison there. I suck ass with those.
But if what you mean by difficult is convoluted than csgo definitely takes the cake bc no way in hell am I learning twenty lineups for just one spot. And I can see why people like finding knowledge and just trying that stuff out but I personally just like the ability interactions and the simplified movement. <-- Everything you said here I agree
If 10-20 years everyone is dashing around like prod than idk. I would lose hope tbh. Prod is a meme I dont want to sound rude but idk how people watch him. He is like moe but of Valorant and less toxic.
You get away with more in Valorant and the game is more forgiving. Yes it is up to the enemy to punish you. But typically playing dumb guarantees you no success in CS. In Valorant, kids in immortal and diamond play like a headless chicken and just be an idiot but get rewarded and have success.
Ex: You can't just w key in CS like you can in Valorant.
