because they got destroyed on 2nd map, because c9 was trash on mirage, but he was the best on the first. but yeah, he was an idiot who didn't care about pro play and the region was in a shit state at the time. but he was a talented player, who on his day could compete with anyone, as shown in the matches I linked. everyone here acting like he's a shit player with little to no talent at all.

bro... you link him performing well in like 3 matches and he doesn't even play well across all the maps in those matches... even those "good" performances are nothing compared to players like elige, twistzz, prime stew, prime hiko (or even washed hiko probably), and tons more. People were saying he's the best NA FPS player of all time but its just not true he was never even the best NA CS player of his time, he was just an average player who never performed when it mattered most and fell off hard after a couple years in the scene.
Shroud was very good. He only showed some of the matches. Yeah he wasn't that good. But he wasn't like shit. Look at this:
