Imagine Shroud and Tarik both in their primes
Who would win in 1v1 fights
valulrantefanboy [#3]1vs1 I think Shroud will win, his aim was very insane in prime
???? He wasnt even a top player in NA let alone the world
SnxZ [#2]Tarik-1 major, Shroud- 0 major
Shroud doesn't have a major win ? I never played CSGO so idk
I assumed he must be a major winner since he is so famous
ZoldyK [#6]???? He wasnt even a top player in NA let alone the world
I have never played CSGO so cant comment
But if shroud isnt a major winner and wasnt even that good then what made him so famous ?

shroud has won like nothing lmao

Reddit clips
He made some clips back in C9 and he was very popular as a streamer
ZoldyK [#6]???? He wasnt even a top player in NA let alone the world
Yeah, as a pro player, he was shit because his gamesense was not good and his mental was weak on LAN. But he was still very insane aimer in his prime
dexter000111 [#7]Shroud doesn't have a major win ? I never played CSGO so idk
I assumed he must be a major winner since he is so famous
"I assumed he must be a major winner since he is so famous" LMAO wtf is this logic
vitality_pog [#12]but 1v1 doesnt matter because people like shroud, stewie defeated S1mple in 1v1
Shroud only beat him on pistols and because of ping that whole thing was a mess lol
dexter000111 [#7]Shroud doesn't have a major win ? I never played CSGO so idk

Shroud never won a major but he has some really good highlights. A map in CS named Cache has his name callout coz of his star play from that spot.
But he was never a really good player in a team environment more of a pugger farming reddit clips and kinda faded away in big events.
dexter000111 [#17]Then what did he do that made him so popular
He hit good clips in esea rank s for reddit
vitality_pog [#12]but 1v1 doesnt matter because people like shroud, stewie defeated S1mple in 1v1
Stewie>s0mple confirmed ?!!?!

Shroud was more or less an onliner who won nothing relevant, always known in CS as all aim no brain. For some reason these types of people get famous but yea... tarik was way better than shroud ever was, he not only won a major but was MVP in the major and then also won some events in 2019 with NRG, hit #1 ranking in the world etc.
valulrantefanboy [#3]1vs1 I think Shroud will win, his aim was very insane in prime
aim=win copium, tarik would probably already have flanked him without shroud even considering it
Ceraaa [#18]"I assumed he must be a major winner since he is so famous" LMAO wtf is this logic
Idk bro i dont even know what a Major is
valulrantefanboy [#16]Yeah, as a pro player, he was shit because his gamesense was not good and his mental was weak on LAN. But he was still very insane aimer in his prime
What would you consider his prime , the only time they did something significant was COLOGNE 2014 and he hugely underperformed there
All other Majors they just went out on LAN
Sgares carried them that time though especiially against Dignitas Ex Astralis
dexter000111 [#7]Shroud doesn't have a major win ? I never played CSGO so idk
I assumed he must be a major winner since he is so famous
Shroud was like the most average, overhyped CS pro in existence... he won literally nothing.
Go on HLTV and search up Shroud, then look at achievements. He won one LAN event, that's it. For reference look up nitr0 too and nivera. Nivera just started his comp career in CS, literally didn't even play for a year and already had more wins than shroud. And if you want to see something truly impressive search for device.
dexter000111 [#17]Then what did he do that made him so popular
when he stopped playing CS and started streaming PUBG is when he started to gain massive popularity. He was the PUBG guy and Ninja was the Fortnite guy
Ceraaa [#18]"I assumed he must be a major winner since he is so famous" LMAO wtf is this logic
It makes sense though, when someone's that famous you're obviously gonna expect them to have significant achievements???
Raevus [#33]Shroud was a PUB god. Every match he played, he got a highlight. In competitive, he was average. Nothing jaw dropping, but he had moments of amazingness.
Tarik, was far better in his peak than shroud ever was. Shroud just got insanely hyped by reddit when he was on front page every day.
Good highlights, average as a pro
Reminds me of Roza

100%
He was a god for highlights in MM. In pro play, he had a few moments but nothing at the level he's hyped to, or at tarik.
