Why do you guys hate BR or brazilians? I know that right now have a tension in the air, bcause of everything... but apart of that, WHY? We have kind ppl, beautiful places, problably the most rich earth in the entire world, beautiful girls, awesome athletes. best players of all time in different sports... i really dont understand, cause im a nice guy, i try help ppl, i prefere donate my own and stay with nothing just for make someone happy... but then i open twitter and i see americans saying they would never step here, that we are the scum, that there is only thieves and robbery and that we are a third world country and etc... it really hurts me because people tend to channel hate and generalize everything. Obviously there are robberies and bandits, but this is more in states like sp or rio, you don't know Santa Catarina, Manaus, Sergipe, regions outside the rio-sp axis... and obviously rio and sp are wonderful cities, but pllease, I ask you not to be like that... try to understand us and how much u suffer and try to do everything with a smile on our faces. I dont. its just that people misinterpret the region and country as if both mean the same thing. zomb's comment was towards the brazilian esports region, but people think he meant the country, which went on to go crazy on the tl. then this whole war on the tl is just a bunch of tomfoolery and is irrelevant. every region have toxic fans that push too far. just be a neutral and dont listen to them.

I have friends in norway and they say that norway is a country with ppl very cold, that dont get much in act, like we do... so, that difference could be why u have troubles with some brazilians. But yeah, we can be pretty dark sometimes
Obviously there's a cultural disconnect, but I don't think that should intrude on an otherwise friendly discussion about esports. If I think teams like VK and Furia are not very good, that shouldn't be considered a personal attack nor should it be an invitation to shit talk my country because we historically don't do well in esports.

the thing is that when brazil is mentioned in a joke or anything related to it, we get so mad for no reason at all and this needs to stop/be changed because that’s what make everyone hate us and its a shame
as i said before, i hope in VALORANT most of the BR fans change the way they act whenever we’re mentioned in some sort of joke, like just laugh together like NA and EMEA making fun of each other
Becuase of the perpetual victim complex and any sort of banter is immediately viewed as an attack on the entire country. Your community/region throw a shitfit whenever anything doesn't go your way and you spam death threats to anyone even remotely involved with whatever you are mad about. You make the toxicity of Turkish and Chinese fans look like nothing. It's been like this for years and yet no major figures in your community try and stop it, they even encourage it (Gaules during Chaos incident). NA and EMEA banter each other but its a good time, can't say the same when you all get involved.

Brazilians are so easy to jump on conclusions before actual statement out. Then after the actual statement that legit, some of them can't accept the truth because its so different from what they've believed. Tech pause things are the primary example here, they believed that the tech pause was called by Sentinels but the truth it was Riot's. Even after they heard the truth some of them still think that was on Sentinels. Once again language barrier is the fucking problem here and a misunderstanding. Then the Zombs's tweet, because of that 2 days of heat about the tech pause and unfortunate 12-5 choke, and yeah people instantly jumped on conclusions that zombs shit talked to entire nation even Co-CEO of Furia. I would say It's just unfortunate.
