I had not seen this, Kün literally said "next year LATAM is going to have 2 places because Krü was champion 2 times and qualified for the Champions faster than BR, so they will get a BR place and give 1 more place to LATAM ". I don't know where he got that information from, but being the owner of a club is possibly something that was communicated from Riot, I don't know if he was allowed to say that lmaooooo

If it is a leak it is very huge because it would surely mean that there would still be 16 teams because if there were 24 teams they could simply give +1 to LATAM without taking 1 away from Brazil lol

a second slot for LATAM is helpful because the 2nd best team, Australs, literally disbanded even tho they weren’t that bad. It was harming the scene growth.

idk, latam seems like an one team region, the only other that put a good competiton agaisnt brazil was Austraus, but i think they disbanded.
6karma are good too, would be cool if they merged both latam and brazil at VCT, so we could get a definitive answer of who deservers more spots

ping issues probably with lan to las/br is why lan and las are different, ive heard people from amazon area get 70ish ping on br servers? so lan playing with all of sa will definitely put some trouble

For me the problem is that LAS > LAN, LAS teams make constant fights against BR so that they can reach a good level, but since the point spread forces LAN teams to get more than some LAS I'm sure If 9z for example had been in the LCQ, they would have done a better role than INF and 6K.

The situation in Latam is that we don´t have many support for the brands to create a good orgs, also the esports aren´t strongest if we comparate hoe the strongest it´s the scene in Brazil and the rest of the regions like NA, EMEA, KR, CHN or JPN, also that provoque the others teams aren´t strongest like Krü, Australs (actualy Leviathan), or Br teams, there is no investment to improve the Latam scene. Maybe valorant can change it hopefuly. Krü it´s a org that their player can trust, also in Infinity & 9z (for now also 6k and maybe Leviathan, they are new orgs, we hope that they will going be a good orgs), cuz trust in esports in latam it´s like to jump to the ocean alone, corruption in orgs (like the case of LDM ESPORTS or KGL ESPORTS in valorant/LoL) are do it than people dosen´t interesting to be part of an org or create a good org.

just look at SA LCQ, the only good LATAM team (except KRU) is Australs (Leviathan now)
the problem with LATAM is that the others teams suck more than any """tier 2""" brazilian team like SHK, HL, GL (proof: SA LCQ)

and let's imagine:
2 slots from LATAM: KRU and Leviathan
1 slot from Brazil: Keyd
+1 from LCQ (probably Vikings)

do you guys really think that Leviathan is better than FURIA? I don't think so...

I don't know if better or worse, but the difference is not very big, in fact they beat Furia in the LCQ but they were nervous in the final they said, the same thing happens to Krü sometimes, they are good, they just need more experience
