Honestly, Mindfreak is another shout for Astra. A more niche pick could be Demon1. He may have been known for Brim/Jett, but his Astra was solid. But definitely Mako, Mindfreak and Astra were more well known on Astra.

statistically mako is better at Astra than karon . Mako has 1.20 rating on astra while playing it for 4 yars while karon has 1.15 rating on astra while playing it for 1 and a half year . IDK abt u bro I see something else .

mako doesnt rly make mistakes witth util like timing of the astra suck on attack to displace someone and stuff I have seen Karon make those mistakes but he makes that up with aim I fell . I fell both are equally gr8 at clutching . Mako brings more intangibles like leadership and stuff + GenG doesnt play astra maps now . Fragging both are same almost I would say when Mako doesnt igl btw . So ya

Disagree i think Karon can sit in Tspawn on breeze miles away from the pack and still have perfect utility timing to set up two duelists (meteor & t3xture) on their entry whilst playing a perfect passive lurk

i can't say i've seen Mako play much astra since she was giga-OP in 2021 (which explains the rating difference, btw). Karon's astra impact transcends statistics since his impact comes from his lurking on abyss/breeze or his clutch winrate which isnt heavily factored into VLR rating
